I'm Thaís, the plant lover behind The Planty Girl Co.

Growing up in Brazil, I was always surrounded by plants. They were just part of everyday life and I think that's where my love for them really started. When I moved to Northern Ireland, that love came with me... although I definitely didn't expect it to turn into a house full of plants, propagation boxes everywhere, and eventually a greenhouse!

What started as propagating plants for myself quickly turned into giving cuttings to friends, then friends of friends and now... this little business.

Every plant you'll find here has been propagated and grown by me. Watching a tiny cutting grow into a healthy plant never gets old and I honestly still get excited every time I see a new leaf unfurl.

The Planty Girl Co. is all about making houseplants feel a little less intimidating. Whether you're buying your very first plant or adding another one to your ever-growing collection (no judgement here!), I want this to be a place where you can find beautiful plants and honest advice.

This blog is where I'll be sharing plant care tips, propagation guides, answers to common questions and probably a few lessons I've learned the hard way too. I'm definitely still learning myself and I think that's part of the fun.
